Sage Green Colour Scheme for a Timeless Home

This palette combines nature-inspired patterns with warm neutrals to create a layered, elegant space. Pair Little Greene: Sage Green with Paint & Paper Library: Leather II for the perfect balance of warmth and freshness. These two shades work beautifully together and form a scheme that feels relaxed but refined. I should know, I have it in my own living room!

How to Style This Sage Green Colour Scheme

Start with Leather II on the walls to create a soft backdrop, then use Sage Green for the ceiling for that wow factor, or if you're looking for a full cocooning feeling, wrap it around the walls. Add the floral pattern through either curtains, blinds, wallpaper or cushions and layer in blush velvet and woven textures to soften the look. Keep your accessories simple with rattan, wood, and brushed brass finishes. The result is a fresh yet timeless scheme that feels calm and uplifting.

Over to You

What do you think of this week’s Mac’s Edit? Would you bring this colour scheme into your home?
